Equipment to Make Cannabis-Infused Salad Dressing
As with all of our cannabis edible recipes, there is no specialized equipment required, all of this equipment can easily be found at a local supermarket or store.
- Mason Jar (or Other Storage Container Such as a Dressing Bottle)
- Wooden Spoon
- Hand Mixer or Blender
- Large Mixing Bowl
- Funnel
Ingredients Needed to Make Infused Dressing
The cannabis-infused portion of this salad dressing is contained within the coconut oil. All of the other ingredients can be found at your local supermarket.
- 2/3 of a cup of cannabis-infused coconut oil (melted)
- 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 of a cup of vinegar (traditional, white balsamic, or apple cider work well)
- 1/2 of a tablespoon of raw honey
- 1/2 of a teaspoon of oregano
- 1 small garlic glove (smashed as small as possible)
- 1 teaspoon each of salt and pepper
How to Make Cannabis-Infused Salad Dressing
Not only is this salad dressing a convenient way to ingest cannabis, but it is also incredibly simple to make at home.
- Add all of the ingredients into the large mixing bowl and mix well with a hand mixer or wooden spoon
- Using the funnel, pour the dressing into your container (mason jar, dressing bottle etc)
- Let the dressing stand for one hour before refrigeration
- This cannabis-infused salad dressing will somewhat solidify in the fridge, let it stand on the counter for 30 minutes before using and shake well
Carrot & Ginger Infused Dressing
- 1/4 of a cup of cannabis-infused coconut oil
- 1/4 of a cup of rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame oil
- 5cm (2inch) piece of ginger
- 1/2 of a cup of carrots
- Slice the ginger and carrots into small pieces
- Add the carrots and ginger to the blender (use a large bowl and hand mixer if you do not have a blender) and mix well
- Now, add the coconut oil, sesame oil, and vinegar and blend well
- Remove from the blender and use the funnel to pour the dressing into a container
- Store in the refrigerator
Cannabis-Infused Honey-Mustard Dressing
- 1/4 of a cup of melted cannabis coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons of honey (raw if possible)
- 1/4 of a cup of olive oil
- 1/2 a cup of yellow mustard
- Blend all of the ingredients together, or, mix the ingredients in a large bowl with a hand mixer
- Using the funnel, pour the honey mustard dressing into a container
- Store in the refrigerator
Creamy Turmeric Infused Salad Dressing
- 1/4 of a cup of tahini
- 2 tablespoons of cannabis-infused coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of Tumeric powder
- 1/4 of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper (chilli powder makes a good substitute as well)
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Add the ingredients to the blender/large bowl and mix or whisk together well
- Add a small amount of water (1 tablespoon at a time) until the desired texture is reached
- Use the funnel to easily transfer this infused salad dressing into its container
- Store in the refrigerator
Vegetables and Fruits that Contain the Same Terpenes as Cannabis
Pairing these salad dressing with vegetables that contain some of the same terpenes and cannabis may help to facilitate the entourage effect. The terpenes from the vegetables may interact positively with the cannabinoids within your infused oils.
